Product description

Viper is an 8mm Vectran / Polyester accessory cord designed for use as a high performance friction cord where heat generation is an issue or improved levels of grip are needed. The high melting point of Vectran prolongs the working life of the cord in tough or heavy use conditions.

These hitch cords feature CNC sewn eyes on each end. The sewn eyes are every bit as strong as a hand spliced eye, but we can offer them at a lower price. For a consumable item such at this, the lower priced sewn eyes make a lot of sense for many climbers.

BENEFITS:

Easy knotability
Excellent abrasion resistance
Excellent heat resistance
Flexible & easily handled
Good strength
High friction
