The Notch Friction Savers with Steel Rings help reduce friction on the climbing line while protecting the tree during arborist climbing. 1 inch nylon webbing resists twisting and fraying, while the smooth hot forged steel rings provide a wider bend radius for rope friendly performance. The friction saver has a 23 kN minimum breaking strength, meets ANSI Z133, and is available in 24, 36, and 48 inch lengths.

Protect your climbing line and the tree with these durable and rope-friendly steel friction savers. Featuring Notch’s durable steel 30kN rings, these friction savers are CE certified, brightly colored, and individually serialized.

Friction savers are essential tools for climbing arborists that extend the life of your climbing line and the tree.

The steel rings offers a 33% wider bend radius to be more rope-friendly and are CNC turned for a smoother finish. These Friction Savers are available in 3 different lengths: 24”, 36” and 48”.
