The ISC Chipmunk Flex Tether is a compact 9 inch tether designed to reduce the overall height of SRT climbing systems and improve reach during ascent. Its durable rope core and polymer overmold provide a rigid feel with controlled flex, while snug sewn eyes help keep connectors properly positioned. A central attachment point allows connection to a chest harness using the included accessory carabiner. The tether weighs 105 g, has a 24 kN minimum breaking strength, and complies with ANSI Z133.

Product description

The ISC Chipmunk Flex Tether measures 9″, which is 3″ shorter than the original Squirrel Flex Tether. The short Chipmunk tether allows users to reduce the overall height of their SRT climbing system. A compact climbing system allows climbers more reach-space above the system, therefore enabling longer arm strides and greater efficiency during ascent. The Chipmunk is constructed from high quality, durable rope with an advanced Polymer over-mould, to create a super-rigid tether, with just the right amount of flex!

The Chipmunk Flex Tether has sewn eyes which offer a snug fit, firmly holding the karabiner in order to maintain stiffness in the system. The Chipmunk FLEX Tether has a central connection point that allows for connection to a chest harness, using the KL100 Accessory Karabiner (supplied).
