The ISC APEX Rope Wrench is designed for arborist climbing systems that require adjustable friction and quick midline attachment. Its adjustable cam offers multiple friction settings for different rope types and diameters, while the spring loaded design allows changes without tools or loose parts. A swing open frame with a double lock closure provides fast installation, even while wearing gloves. The APEX works with 11 to 13 mm rope, has a 120 kg working load limit, and is compatible with ISC Squirrel FLEX and other ISC tethers.

Product description

The ISC APEX Rope Wrench builds on the performance characteristics of the original Rope Wrench by offering additional functionality and convenience.

It's fitted with an adjustable cam, allowing the user to select from multiple clearly identifiable friction settings, in accordance with rope type and diameter. The spring-loaded cam can be adjusted in under 5 seconds. Simply depress the spring-loaded button, swing the side plate open, and then pull the spring-loaded cam outward a short way. Rotate the cam to select the new setting, release the cam, and close the device. No tools needed, and no droppable parts!

The ISC APEX is fitted with a swing-open frame which allows for quick and easy mid-line attachment, even when wearing gloves! The push-button, swing-open side frame has a double-lock closure system for added security, and an audible click to confirm closer. The APEX also allows the user to change the tether without having to alter the friction setting. This device is NOT for PPE.
