The Conterra Hitch Plate provides a secure vehicle mounted anchor point for rope rescue operations. CNC machined from billet aluminum, it fits standard 2 inch vehicle receivers and features five large rigging holes for organizing rescue systems. The attached pin and cotter system helps prevent lost hardware, while the included padded nylon case simplifies storage and transport. The Hitch Plate has a 50 kN minimum breaking strength and is UL certified to NFPA 1983 (2022 Edition) General Use. It is intended for rope rescue only and not for vehicle recovery or towing.

Product description

The Conterra Hitch-Plate™ answers the question of exactly where and how to anchor to your rig when performing a vehicle based rope rescue.

The Hitch-Plate™ is beautifully made and wicked strong. It is CNC machined entirely from billet aluminum in Conterra's ISO 9001 certified fab shop. It sports five large rigging holes and will fit in any 2" vehicle receiver. (Please check and make sure that your receiver is 2.00 inches) It has an ingenious system that keeps the pin and cotter attached to the device so that they can't be lost. It comes with it's own padded Ballistics nylon case with grab handle and hang loop.

Meets NFPA Standard 1983 (2022 ed.) and is UL certified. Rated for General Use (G) MBS 50 kN.
