Course meets NFPA 1670 awareness level guidelines. Certification comes from Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

16 hours	Prerequisites: Water Rescue for The First Responder (awareness)

Classroom and practical hands-on training covers planning, medical considerations, rescue equipment, self-rescue and shore-based rescue techniques. Course meets or exceeds NFPA 1670 operator level guidelines. Certification comes from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

Students are required to bring all appropriate P.P.E. for water rescue operations (dry suit, helmet, gloves, PFD, whistle, etc.).
