The Air Systems Saddle Vent Manhole provides continuous access to a manhole while supplying fresh air into confined spaces. The system connects to 8 inch ventilation ducting and can be set up in less than five minutes, helping maintain airflow without blocking entry or exit. When paired with the compatible 90 degree elbow, the intake duct can be rotated to the desired position at street level. The unit weighs 20 lb and measures 44 in x 15 in.

Product description

The Saddle Vent® ventilator provides continuous access to the entry hole for either entry or egress. Traveling in and out of the confined space can now be done quickly and safely. The unit can be completely set up in less than five minutes. Eight inch air duct is installed on the bottom of The Saddle Vent® and runs to the bottom of the manhole. This allows fresh air to be supplied to the workers and displace any harmful gases that may be deadly for the occupants. The use of the 90° elbow removes the severe kink in the air duct and allows for rotation of the intake duct to any desired position at the street level.
