Rides with me on every climb, and almost always finds something to do. Mine squatch claw started as a lanyard hook. It is a good/better than any of the high-end European offerings. Far superior to the “house hooks” that some suppliers use. I know this is personal preference sometimes, but we blind tested these, and are very happy.
I now have mine girth hitched to a 48inch Rock n Arbor bright green loop runner. It is my main redirect for srt, and even works as a drt redirect when needed. My favorite use is to have it as a srt redirect on removals, untie my canopy tie in, clip my canopy tie to myself, and chunk down the leader. The Squatch claw is now my anchor point for drt, and it doesn’t create to much friction. When daisy chained, the loop runner and claw measure a compact 10 inches. Nice.
