Product Description

The Guardian Fall Protection Cable Choker Anchor is an ideal lightweight and portable anchorage connector. To use, cinch around a compatible beam or other structural anchor, attach with a compatible lanyard or SRL, and you are ready to work. This model utilizes a 3″ O-Ring and a Snap Hook End and is available in 3′, 4′ and 6′ lengths. It is easy to install, has superior durability due to it’s galvanized coating which makes it more resistant to wear and abrasion. Weight: 1.8 – 2.6 lbs. Made in the U.S.A.

Cable Anchorage Slings are suitable for the following applications:

  •  Personal Fall Arrest: Cable Anchorage Slings may be used in Personal Fall Arrest applications to support a MAXIMUM 1 Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS). Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 5,000 lbs. Maximum free fall is 6‘, unless used in combination with equipment explicitly certified for free fall of up to 12’. Applicable D-ring: Dorsal.
  •  Restraint: Cable Anchorage Slings may be used in Restraint applications. Restraint systems prevent workers from reaching the leading edge of a fall hazard. Always account for fully deployed length of lanyard/SRL. Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 1,000 lbs. No free fall is permitted. Restraint systems may only be used on surfaces with slopes up to 4/12 (vertical/horizontal). Applicable D-rings: Dorsal, Chest, Side, Shoulder.
