The Guardian Fall Protection Beamer 2000 is a versatile Fall Arrest anchor designed for use both overhead and at foot level. Attachable to both steel I and H beams, the Beamer 2000 offers Nylon bushings to provide smooth movement along the beam, that also function as impact indicators in the event of a fall. This extremely durable anchor also includes a precision machined aluminum bar and ratcheting end pieces, which allow for quick and easy adjustment with just one hand. When used at foot level, a Guardian Fall Protection Big Boss Extended Free Fall Lanyard must be used. Weight: 4 lbs. Made in the U.S.A.
Beamer Anchors are suitable for the following applications:
- Personal Fall Arrest: Beamer Anchors may be used in Personal Fall Arrest applications to support a MAXIMUM 1 Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS). Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 5,000 lbs. Maximum free fall is 6‘, unless used in combination with equipment explicitly certified for extended free fall. Maximum extended free fall is 12’. Applicable D-ring: Dorsal.
- Restraint: Beamer Anchors may be used in Restraint applications. Restraint systems prevent workers from reaching the leading edge of a fall hazard. Always account for fully deployed length of lanyard/SRL. Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 1,000 lbs. No free fall is permitted. Restraint systems may only be used on surfaces with slopes up to 4/12 (vertical/horizontal).
- Applicable D-rings: Dorsal, Chest, Side, Shoulder.
For all applications: worker weight capacity range (including all clothing, tools, and equipment) is 130-310 lbs., or up to 420 lbs. when used with equipment explicitly certified for such use.
