F4 End User Training
June 3 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
F4 End User Training at our facility in Butler, PA is $115.00 per student.
The F4 End User Training class length is 6-8 hours with an hour break for lunch (lunch not provided). We offer an “early bird” discount of $85.00 for those who register at least 14 days or more for a class. You must pre-pay to qualify for the “early bird” special. This is a beginners course for training in emergency escape in a fire setting. Class objectives include understanding the dangers in a structural burn, brief history of bailout, recognizing when to bailout, deployment, anchoring, horizontal movements, sill negotiation, descending, care and inspection, and lastly a debriefing and review. The class consists of both classroom training and hands on training. During the hands on portion of F4 End User Training, students will practice the actual “bail out” process using the Sterling Rope innovative F4 Descent device. The students will be required to wear the personal protection equipment that they actually wear in a fire situation to make the training as realistic as possible. Rock-N-Rescue will provide the students with harnesses, ropes, carabiners and descent devices required for the hands on portion of the class. Students are required to bring helmets, boots, bunker gear, gloves and if the student wants, breathing apparatus for even more realistic practice. Our program is designed to educate and train firefighters on the design, construction, proper deployment and use, storage, inspection, and maintenance of our systems. All students attending the course will be given a discount on any of our escape and bailout gear. Click here to see our large selection of personal safety equipment
