Product description

The RNR 8mm Litter Purcells provide a lightweight, compact, and easily customizable solution for securely supporting a rescue litter during vertical or horizontal raises and lowers. Built from high-strength and field proven RNR 8mm Poseidon Series Prusik Cord, these adjustable tethers provide rescuers total control over patient positioning without the need of bulky hardware.

Made in the USA | Built for Rescue Teams | Fully Adjustable

The Purcells are available in 34″ and 68″ lengths and can be used in many different configurations depending on your agency’s needs. Purcells are an excellent option for litter rigging due to the easy of adjustment, energy absorption in the event of a minor fall or shock load, and extremely lightweight and packable.

Each leg of the Purcell can be quickly shortened or lengthened making patient orientation fast and precise.
Because it’s made of prusik cord and uses friction knots, it naturally absorbs energy in the event of a minor fall or shock load.
Offers an ideal blend of strength, flexibility, and dynamic energy absorption.
Use in horizontal or vertical litter evacuations, helicopter hoist operations, confined space rescues, and mountain rescue scenarios.
Lightweight and Packable-Perfect for minimalist alpine and rescue gear setups
Supplied with CNC sewn terminations. The sewn eye is easy to inspect, low profile, and stronger than knots.
