PARATECH, Strut Extension


Strut Extensions are made of a 3" (76.2 mm) aluminum tube with a solid 2 1/2" (63.5 mm) aluminum movable ground shaft. Struts can be extended manually or from a pneumatic pressure source such as; air, carbon dioxide or nitrogen. Each extension is equipped with a spring loaded locking pin to permit connection to an extendible RescueStrut. When combined with base plates and/or end plates, strut extensions are designed to function independently as rigid support devices. They also can be integrated with either lockstroke or acme thread struts to add length. Struts are not designed to accept more than two extensions with a total combined length of 36" (91.4 cm) Comes in 4 sizes: 6" (15 cm), 12" (30 cm), 24" (61 cm) and 36" (91 cm). Weight: 6" 3.8 lbs (1.7 kg) - 12" 4.6 lbs. (2.1 kg) - 24" 7.1 lbs. (3.2 kg) and 36" 9.7 lbs (4.4 kg). Made in the U.S.A.
