Designed to be the struts contact point, Paratech's wide assortment of aluminum alloy base and end plates offer unparalleled versatility in the widest range of collapse support situations. The following base plates/end plates/fittings are available to enhance the versatility of the Rescue Support System. All base plates/end plates/fittings are equipped with a pull and twist locking pin to provide for their easy and rapid installation and removal.
PARATECH, Angle Base Ref: 796092
The angle base incorporates a 2-3/4" (7.0 cm) lip to hang a strut for hands-free operation. Typically used at a trench cave-in where walls must be rebraced before personnel are permitted to enter the excavation. Weight 1.6 lbs. (0.7 kg). Made in the U.S.A.

PARATECH, Angle Base
PARATECH, "V" Base Ref: 796090
The V-base is basically a 3" (7.6 cm) diameter cylindrical base with a 90° "V"machined approximately 1" (2.5 cm) deep at its center. The V-base is primarily used to stabilize anything with a corner or angle at the point of support. Weight 1.4 lbs. (0.6 kg). Made in the U.S.A.

The 4" x 4" (10.2 x 10.2 cm) channel base is essentially a 3" (7.6 cm) standard base secured to a 4" x 4" (10.2 x 10.2 cm) channel. The spring loaded connector was developed for use with lockstroke struts. The connector permits snug positioning of a lockstroke strut on a non-yielding surface and maintains strut compression even if slight movement occurs. The Multi-Base is machined out of Aircraft Grade Aluminum alloy and is Hard Coat Anodized for hardness and durability. The base is designed to perform multiple applications in conjunction with Paratech Rescue Struts. Features: Claw-like wedge on the end to receive a 3/8" (10 mm) chain to be held securely into place; 90 deg "V" end slot will fit over the edge and two cross drilled holes are provided to secure the Multi-Base on the corner with nails; the 90 deg "V" edge will fit in to the corner; either one of two arms in a shape of a cone provide additional, point loaded application to stabilize a Rescue Strut at a slight angle, close to the side walls; base has a 1.06" (27 mm) cross hole for accessories such as a D-Ring for polyester sling.
