The PMI Spec Hook is intended for use as an emergency escape line anchor hook. This hook may be used to anchor a rope to any acceptable strength point in the area being exited. There are several ways to load the hook, including placing it over a window sill: the user does a slow roll out while keeping the hook loaded (under tension) and holding it in place while exiting. Colors: Orange or black. MBS: Saddle - 8,000 lbf. (35.5 kN). Tip - 3,000 lbf. (13.3 kN). Weight 10.2 oz. (289 g). Made in the U.S.A.
