Construction is of the kernmantle design. The continuous stranded core is made of multifilament polypropylene which provides the buoyancy to float the braided nylon sheath. The sheath is the same nylon braid that makes PMI rope number one in abrasion resistance. PMI water rescue ropes should not be used for rappelling or to lift critical live loads. Min. Breaking Strength 3,600 lbf. (16.01kN). Made in USA.
